I love the flowing shapes of nature. The lines that speak of movement and energy and the simple, elegant designs. Today in the heart of Seattle a rare botanical find was discovered. This extraordinary event had the blogosphere buzzing and created quite a horticultural hoopla. Thought extinct, Needlus spaceosus variety ‘PNW’ was actually uncovered in the middle of this urban arena. Yesterday as the snow was falling covering all green with a sparkly coat of ice crystals and the wind was gusting through the landscape, tugging and pulling on every leaf and flower, I felt sorry for the trees.
