Another Winter Bloomer

I’ve never seen a Mahonia this big, only at the Arboretum.  With dark green leaves and yellow flowers that glow like a neon sign, this is a great winter shrub.  It grows best in part shade and can reach 15 feet.  Startling February color!

  1. We’re also loving the new February colour here in the UK. We seem to have a few fat daffodil buds which look promising and all of the other bulbs are growing comfortably. Luckily, we’ve had a mild winter (even though as I write this comment there are snowballs flying past the window!)
