I recently visited Bainbridge Gardens, a beautiful and established nursery on Bainbridge Island. Never having been there before, I enjoyed exploring the trees and shrubs and the Christmas filled gift store. There was a room set up for do-it-yourself wreath making filled with Northwest greenery and color. It looked like a lot of fun. I missed the cafe, guess I’ll have to go back. The grounds were a bit confusing, I wasn’t sure where everything was, but maps were available (I just didn’t get one). There was a nature trail that looked interesting, I saw some pumpkins left over from the Halloween Pumpkin Walk. I was impressed with their activities, such as the pumpkin walk, and all the classes and seminars they hold throughout the year. Bainbridge Gardens is a great place to visit when you’re on the Island. www.bainbridgegardens.com.
